Having only seen The Cremorne depicted on a dark and dingy advert in Exposed magazine, I was a little apprehensive when Richard from Bijon Freece suggested meeting there. However, after bumbling in from the cold Sheffield weather I caught up with Richard, Tom and Karl from the band to talk spray painted dogs, their Oscar dreams and playing at the top of a snowy mountain.
Hi guys, let me start with a question many people hearing your name probably wonder. It’s quite an unusual one, Bijon Freece, is there a story behind it?
Richard: We were just racking our brains to come up with a name.
Tom: It’s a small, poodle type dog. They were used as an item of barter for sailors in the olden days. They’ve got a happy disposition so they enjoyed having them on the boats.
